Articles about Great Dane. Posted by great-dane-dog-breed-store.com
In general, Great Danes love people and are mild-tempered dogs, but, if the situation needs it, they may be aggresssive. Great Danes like children, however, it's not recommended to leave your dog alone with them. One swipe of the tail may knock the toddler over. Great Danes are friendly to other animals, but they should learn how to be gentle with them. Remember, that Great Danes like to be in the center of attention, so it's better if they live inside your house. If the dog is bored, untrained or unsupervised, he develops such negative features as constant barking and digging. Start training your puppy the day you bring him home, otherwise it may be more difficult to do it with grown young dog. Your goal is to socialize the puppy. It's better to get him to special puppy kindergarten, but you may also socialize him at home.
